Day 17 Diary - It’s All a Bit Zen in Second Life
By Mike Mindel | August 18, 2007
So I’m on Second Life, a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents since 2003.
I’m flying… but who knows where?

It’s Wuranga island, home of Dan Raine (nick name Dan Swain) and the Thirty Day Challenge.

So I sit a-top a mountain and chill for a bit.

Aaah…

Hey, you can even get your own 30 Day Challenge t-shirt here…

Just my size…

Found a great place for meetings…

Lets get run over by a huge wave…

Zooming around in a Mocassin…

Oh man. How fun is this…

It’s a tube!!!

Cute girls like Athena Hastings…

Onwards…
I’ve just found Cali. She builds things on Wuranga for Dan.

It’s a Terraformer apparently.

Joined by Ringo Moonlight and Oleg Calhern, the resident dwarf.

Here’s his cave…

and his TREASURE!

Nice waterfall…

Oleg’s freakin’ out…

He’s making some fire apparently…

Oleg & I chat for a bit and then it gets dark…

Seeya later Oleg…
I’m Arden Taliferro (my nickname in Second Life) and I think it’s time for bed.
Zzzzzzzz.

One day, people will realise that Second Life is more than just a video game.
It’s another web 2.0 social application.
Why do you think I’m wearing my 30 day challenge t-shirt.
I can run around Second Life, join vastly populated areas, and people ask me about it.
Hmmm…..

Why do you think this post is interesting?
I’m telling a story…
Perhaps your articles should do the same?

You get on to the bank over the water and click on the jetski. Then right click to sit on it. Then you’re off!
