Summaries, Diary, Articles and Tips on One Page
By Mike Mindel | August 31, 2007
This page has now been coined the summary of summaries. I’ve put all the daily summaries, diary, articles and tips all on the one page so you can find everything you need.
Some of you have also asked me whether I had a minion type up all this content. The answer is no. It’s been me and my nubs, a hot cup of java and the wee hours of the morning.

Nice summary of a summary! (Sorry couldn’t resist!)
August 31st, 2007 at 2:33 am
Summary of a summary? Were you actually summarizing or paraphrasing? Hmmmm.
Thanks for all that you have done in this challenge. Your site has been visited by me repeatedly and on more than one occasion has step-by-stepped me through a new process.
Thank you, thank you, thanks!
August 31st, 2007 at 3:00 am
When the ideas seemed fuzzy I reworked them to make the intention clearer which I guess is paraphrasing.
I removed some of the fluff and summarized the main content.
I also added some of my own examples to support the main points.
So all of paraphrazing and summarizing and support by example.
I also don’t think daily-paraphrases would look quite right.

Thanks so much for helping us newbies out. It has been an amazing journey, which for me continues. I’m so grateful that all this training is still there for as to carry on with and learn.
Hope you get some rest now.

Mike,
This has been an amazing resource all through the challenge. Now that I’m starting over (and will probably do so many times), I’ll want to refer back to the training but re-watching all the videos is very time consuming. Your notes have been totally invaluable, thanks so much for providing them in such detail!

hehehe…i LOVED this line: “It’s been me and my nubs, a hot cup of java and the wee hours of the morning.” I hope you DO get to publish that screenplay or novel sometime!
Mike, thanks again so much for the wonderful notes done in such detail and *TIPS* woven in for good measure! (That also added to the charm of it, if it could be said to have charm! LOL)
Will miss “The Daily Mindel, (sort of like my morning newspaper!).
Thanks for this one page link page. So nice!
Take care!

Thanks Kelly.
I’ll still be chipping in with some helpful posts but not at the furious rate of the last 30 days.

Thanks a million Mike. The summaries alone were a fantastic piece of work, let alone all the added value from Tips and extra examples and explanations. A prodigious output! You deserve a crate of Guinness. It’s all hugely appreciated. Cat

This is an absolutely fantastic summary. Thank you for all the hard work you have put into making this easier for everyone. Good luck to everyone as this is really just the beginning of some new careers for people. Simply awesome!

Mike:
A HUGE Thank You for all you’ve done during the TDC.
The G-Trends spin-off of your wordtracker. (both very cool tools, by the way) and all the excellent summaries, tips, and advice you provided here on your blog.
I can’t imagine how much time and effort went into all this, in parallel with your own challenge and business… Way above and beyond the call of duty!
Thank you so much!
Cheers - To success!

[…] I felt like the last few days of the challenge were almost overshadowed by the excitement and hype of everybody making their sales and it felt like the training itself wasn’t being given much attention (in the forums). I must admit I have done very little work using this material because so far I have been unsure if my sites were worthy of backlinks. But we’ve been given an awesome array of techniques there and once again, I’m just SO glad that Mike Mindel is around to give us the details in note form! […]

Mike,
You’re another hero of mine. The whole 30DC team has been superb and I want each of you to know how much you are appreciated.
Don’t go away though, I may still need more help.

Hey Mike, That’s great. In fact I was at your blog a couple of times earlier trying to figure out where to begin from.
You have sorted out everything in such a nice manner that you have taken my worries away.
You rock!
Thanks unlimited.
September 2nd, 2007 at 5:04 am
Mike - blessings on you and yours for all the hard work you’ve put in over the last month with the gtrend tool and this summary/diary/articles/tips page. I will continue to refer back to this page and am so happy that it will remain up as a much appreciated resource. Stop the java and have a well earned sleep before Ed gets there as I have a feeling there’ll be a guinness or three shared once he arrives!

Hi Mike
I am indebted to you for this comprehensive single page reference for the 30DC. My hard drive crashed and burnt on day 10. I also travel extensively throughtout outback Queensland and NSW in Australia. As a result by the time I got my machine back from the tech guy, it was day 27!
Quickly saved as much as I could before heading off again and then on my return find that your single page reference point has saved my day.
Thank you Mike. My 30DC will probably end up being a 60DC or even longer…it does not matter. Your generosity will allow me to finish this.
Regards Chris McEvoy

Hi Mike,
You have been inspirational, instrumental, and motivational. You’ve encouraged us, shared with us and stimulated many of us to do more - and do it better - than if you hadn’t been taking part in the challenge.
Obviously, we all owe a lot to Ed, Dan and Rob and the whole team who put the Thirty Day Challenge together. But, like so many comments above this one - I owe you my sincere appreciation for this blog and your contribution to this year’s challenge.
So - Thank you. Someday - I’ll get to London and if you’re up for it - we can go for a pint or two.
Thanks again - and take care,
September 2nd, 2007 at 9:14 am
Hi Mike, Could I please add my thanks for all the daily summaries and of course, the GTrends tool.
It’s all been a great help during the 30DC and will continue to be.
Thanks again.

You have been an inspiration, and extremely helpful!
Thank You again!

[…] Still no hook and baits anywhere, so I started looking at the daily lessons. The first think I realized was that Ed and Dan love videos. The second thing I realized is that with a 4 yr old running around the house, videos without captions aren’t necessarily the optimal format for SAHMs (stay at home moms). Thankfully, Mike Mendel came to the rescue! On his blog, he wrote out a transcript of each TDC entry. It was very nice being able to catch all the things I’d missed on the video. […]

Amazing stuff and all for free .. I mean who gives away these valuable “secrets” for free? I found out about this program only towards the end of November, long after the program ended, and I’m so grateful you left it for people like me to find. You & Ed’s efforts are soooo much appreciated. Your integrity and generosity makes me feel so much better after falling into so many internet minefields. Where were you when I started down this road, been scammed more times than I would have liked, somehow naively, I believed that most people were like you guys and me, honest people who wouldn’t take other people’s hard earned money and run, but was I wrong. Even expensive coaching programs run by the big name gurus have not delivered, I mean what are the credentials of the coaches? but once you’ve paid up, well you are burnt when you don’t get your money’s worth, and if you live overseas and the coach is in the USA, how do you get your money back? You are a God send, and an awesome inspiration.

this awesome!

[…] Some folks have complained that it’s very time-consuming to watch all the Thirty Day Challenge videos to extract the real useful pearls of knowledge. From a marketing viewpoint, this format worked well for Ed and Dan because people had to read every email and watch ever video to truly understand the teachings of the Thirty Day Challenge. In doing so, Ed and Dan built a very strong relationship with the challenger participants. In the future, these relationships will be leveraged to sell product to these people. I have a feeling they’ll take out their credit cards while wearing a smile since Ed and Dale have already provided tremendous value for free. Hi Mike! Are you going to do the notes for this years challenge, or have you got enough on your plate with the “day job”? I think the Wordtracker/ Gtrends combination is the best niche assessor I have used. I have one website built with SBI but their brainstormer seemd to have got a little cumbersome and somehow less reliable. This combo is spot on.
June 1 here I come…
Best regards, Mike H
