Tip #2 - Don’t Query Wordtracker for the Niche Market

By Mike Mindel | August 11, 2007

You DON’T want to enter your niche market e.g. ’suicidal acrobats’ into the Wordtracker free keyword suggestion tool.

You will get no results.

Besides the fact that ’suicidal acrobats’ probably don’t manage to make a long running hobby from their passion, people in a niche market don’t search for themselves.

That’s really important, so I’m going to say it one more time, only a bit louder mit feeling:

PEOPLE IN NICHE MARKETS DON’T SEARCH FOR THEMSELVES

You want to plug in your newly found ‘niches’. You want to find what your target market is searching for.

So for example you don’t want to enter ‘time conscious readers’, which is a niche market, but you do want to enter ’speed reading’, which is a niche, instead.
